Wiggly Bridge Distillery
One of YFI’s most unusual and interesting projects was this renovation and conversion of an old barn to the Wiggly Bridge Distillery. The building dates from 1887 and served the community most recently as a hardware store. Extensive work was required before the facility could open including replacing a dirt foundation as well as adding new wiring and windows. The horse stalls were replaced with a tasting bar and the barn’s root cellar was filled with white oak barrels filled with aging spirits.
