Lakeside Residence in Progress – Part 3

YFI Custom Homes continues construction work on this beautiful lakeside residence in Part 3 of our “Lakeside Series”.  A major portion of the work is now concentrated on the interior of the home and it is exciting to share some of these finishing details.

Custom-made tiles are featured in many different areas of the home; several examples are in bathrooms as seen below but there is also a striking tile installation in one of the first floor niches.

The false floor that had been erected on the second floor for construction purposes was recently removed, unveiling the dramatic two-floor great room with its soaring spaces and lakeside views. The chandelier (still covered for protection) is a Robertson Double-Tier Chandelier with a natural rust finish.

The upstairs balcony that connects the guest bedrooms overlooks the great room.  The balcony balusters feature milled mahogany woodland shapes such as pine trees and deer.

It was such a beautiful day, we needed to get one more parting shot of the rear of the home, overlooking the lake.

strive for perfection in everything. take the best that exists and make it better. if it doesn't exist, create it. accept nothing nearly right or good enough.
